Welcome to Mrs. Semones' Science Page!
I am so excited to be teaching your student this year! This is my 7th year teaching and my third year at NDHS after spending 4 at NDMS teaching and coaching. I am a North Davidson graduate and my mother and sister both work in the Davidson County School system.
After high school, I graduated from East Carolina University in 2018 with a BS in Elementary education with a science concentration spanning grades K-6 after transfering from a pre-dental track to follow my passion for education and teaching. While at ECU I was a four year letter winning athlete on ECU's softball team.
Since graduating, I have expanded my teaching licensure areas to PE and Health education K-12 and General Education 9-12, and General Science 9-12. I am truly committed to being a lifelong learner and I hope to instill that in my students.
As a former athlete I have a huge heart for athletes and sports. I have coached softball, volleyball, JV cheer and I am currently the Varsity Cheer coach! You will probably see me at lots of sporting events, so feel free to come and talk to me or just say hello!
