   Who is eligible to attend? 
  • 14 1/2 years old
  • currently attending a school in the Davidson County School district 
  • OR be home-schooled at a residence in the Davidson County School district 
  • OR attend a private school that is located in the Davidson County School district

These dates did change due to changes in our driving schedule for current students. 

May 6th,7th,8th,9th  3:15-6:15 (12 hrs)                                  

May 13th,14th.15th,16th 3:15-6:15  (12hrs)

May   20th, 21st 3:15 -6:15 (6 hrs)                      

Makeup is 22nd 3:15-6:15 (3hrs)                                                                                                                                                

The May class is currently full and accepting no more applicants.

Please understand that these dates could change if we have weather events.
This class will be a paper-pencil class no Chromebooks will be used.

June 13th 3:15 -6:15, June 14th 9am-12pm @NDHS (6 hours)

June 17th, 18th, 19th,20th 9am-12pm @ NDHS  (12 Hours)                                  

June 24th, 25th, 26th, 27th 9am-12pm @ NDHS   (12 Hours)                              

Makeup is TBD                                                                                                                                                 

June class will be available for sign-ups from May 7th until we reach capacity in the June class.

  7. Davidson County Christmas break class is no longer available.
  8. NDHS Late January class 2025 After School @ NDHS
  9. DECHS students only in Early February of 2025 @ DECHS  3:30 pm -5:45 pm 
  10. NDHS Early March 2025 3:15-4:45 after school.  @ NDHS
  11. NDHS Early May 2025 3:15 - 4:45 after school.  @NDHS

Must be paid through School Cash Online BEFORE class starts

Homeschool and Private school students: 

Students will be issued a temporary Davidson County email so that they can have access to the materials.  

- Must have transportation to and from class for in-person classes

- The attending school does driving unless accommodations have been made.

Please be patient as we continue to schedule Driving Behind The Wheel for students who have completed the classwork. We usually try to drive you within 30 days of your 15th birthday. The total in-car part of the class is 12 hours.
