Davidson County Schools Driver Education 
 
   Who is eligible to attend? 
  • 14 1/2 years old
  • currently attending a school in the Davidson County School district 
  • OR be home-schooled at a residence in the Davidson County School district 
  • OR attend a private school that is located in the Davidson County School district
 
 
August paylink will be mailed out sometime in Mid-July.

Please understand that these dates could change if we have weather events.
This class will be a paper-pencil class no Chromebooks will be used.

July 29th, 30th, 31st, August 1st 9am-12pm @ NDHS  (12 Hours)                                  

August 5th, 6th, 7th, 8 th 9am-12pm @ NDHS   (12 Hours)  

August 12th, 13th 9am-12pm @NDHS (6 hours)                        

Makeup is TBD                                                                                                                                      Registration is closed

  9. NDHS Mid-June  2025 Durning the Summer  9 am -12 pm. @ NDHS

Homeschool and Private school students: 

Students will be issued a temporary Davidson County email so that they can have access to the materials.  

- Must have transportation to and from class for in-person classes

- The attending school does driving unless accommodations have been made.

Please be patient as we continue to schedule Driving Behind The Wheel for students who have completed the classwork. We usually try to drive you within 30 days of your 15th birthday. The total in-car part of the class is 12 hours.
