Per NDHS School Policy:
1st Offense for Cell Phone Violation:
The student will put cell phone in an appropriately designated area as determined by the teacher’s procedures. *Warning*
2nd Offense for Cell Phone Violation:
The student will turn phone over to the teacher for the remainder of the class period. Teacher will submit a discipline referral with the consequence being a Student-Teacher Conference. Phone returned to student.
3rd Offense for Cell Phone Violation:
The student will turn phone over to the teacher for the remainder of the school day. Teacher will submit a discipline referral with the consequence being a Student-Administrator Conference. Phone returned to student.
4th Offense for Cell Phone Violation:
The student will turn phone over to the teacher for the remainder of the school day. Teacher will submit a discipline referral with the consequence being a Administrator call home and 1 After School Detention. Phone returned to parent.
5th Offense for Cell Phone Violation:
The student will turn phone over to the teacher for the remainder of the school day. Teacher will submit a discipline referral with the consequence being a Administrator call home and 2 After School Detentions. Additionally, student will turn their phone in to the ISS Coordinator for 7 consecutive days. Phone returned to student at the end of the school day.
6th Offense for Cell Phone Violation:
The student will turn phone over to the teacher for the remainder of the school day. Teacher will submit a discipline referral with the consequence being a Administrator call home and day of In School Suspension. Additionally, student will turn their phone in to the ISS Coordinator for 7 consecutive days. Phone returned to student at the end of the school day.
