About Me

Welcome to Foods and Nutrition I.  I am excited to be back in the classroom part-time this year.  I received my bachelors and masters degree from Western Carolina University in Family and Consumer Sciences Education.  My career began at Clyde A. Erwin High School in Asheville, NC.  I then moved to North Forsyth High School in Winston-Salem, NC.  After7 years in the classroom, I changed gears and was an assistant principal at Hanes Magnet Middle School.  After 30, years in education I retired from the state of North Carolina.  I am looking forward to getting back to the school setting.
