Mrs. Kim Odum
About me:
I am beginning my 28th year teaching math, with 20 years of teaching at North Davidson High School. As a Davidson County native, I graduated from West Davidson High School in 1993 and later received a BA in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1997. I began my teaching career at Central Cabarrus High School where I taught for 8 years, then moved back "home" where my husband and I have enjoyed raising three children in the North Davidson community.
I love teaching and helping students reach their potential in mathematics. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Important Class information
*Items needed for Math 3: 3 ring binder, notebook paper, pencil, highlighter, and calculator (for use at home)
*Graphing Calculator: If you would like to purchase a graphing calculator of your own, I would recommend the TI-84+CE. (Texas Instruments 84 Plus Color Edition) It is not required that you purchase this graphing calculator, as one will be provided for students during class. Also, there are free graphing calculator apps students can use as well.
*Final Exam:
Math 3 also has an EOC which will be given during exam week. This exam will count 20% of each student’s final course grade.
